Rural Development : Organised different welfare activities in rural areas by providing safe drinking water, Self Employment activities, Land & Agricultural Development, Water conservation, environment protection Awareness Camps: HIV/AIDS, Women rights, child rights, Mal nutyrition, Free legal aid, Youth empowerment Agriculture : Promoting organic mannures to fields etc.
The aim of CSD has been to promote research and training in disciplines relevant to social development. The Centre at Hyderabad has been undertaking a variety of scientific research projects and assignments of economic and social nature. These projects were funded by International and National Organizations such as the World Bank, DFID, UNDP and various functional Departments of Government of India and State Governments. The Centre has been organizing Seminars, Workshops & Training Programmes regularly. Training for functionaries of the local self-government at different levels and for Social Scientists and Ph.D. Scholars on Research Methodology and Data Processing has been an important activity of the Centre. Recently, the Centre started Training Programmes for the NGOs too.
